- Casa de Campo offers: Beautiful and reasonably-priced lodging with comfy beds in either a single or shared room, delicious and healthy food, and friendly Ecuadorian hospitality to help you unwind and relax.
- Cost for five days, includes lodging and meals, one horseback ride, Reiki treatments, art materials and tuition plus taxi to and from Quito airport $599. (Flights not included). From within Ecuador (airport transport not desired), $499. Send deposit of $100 before June 21 and receive $50 off the total cost.

About the Retreat Leader:

Susanne blends her passion for healing the environment with her desire to connect over-burdened and stressed-out women to the healing gifts of nature and their own inner vision. Her books include Transcendent Joy, Come Home to Love, and Meditations for Single Moms.
She is a certified Reiki Master Teacher, and a spiritual director, (M.A. Loyola University Chicago). She is a recent graduate after two years of training as a trans-formational facilitator with Claire Zammitt of Feminine Power (TM).

Retreat Schedule
- Monday, July 9 - Arrive at Casa de Campo in the afternoon. Orient to the center and meet the participants. Dinner. Monday evening: Welcome, introductions, shared commitments, orient to the concept of divine love energy.
- Tuesday, July 10 - Guided meditation, breakfast, journaling, intention for the week. Yoga breathing class. Lunch, three-hour break and optional Reiki treatments. 4 p.m. Movie "I Am," dinner. Taking stock and writing (and rewriting) our heroine's journey.
- Wednesday, July 11 - Guided meditation, breakfast, horseback ride. Lunch, three-hour break and optional Reiki treatments (included in cost), 4 p.m. Art activities, exploring our sources of joy, energy, purpose, dinner, continue with explorations.
- Thursday, July 12 - Guided meditation, breakfast, nature walk, mirroring greatness exercise. Lunch, two-hour break and optional Reiki treatments. 4 p.m.: Commit to partnering with life to create a life of joy. Dinner, drum circle.
- Friday, July 13 - Guided meditation, breakfast, art or writing activities. Practices for cultivating joy in daily life. Where do we go from here? Lunch, appreciations. Departure 2-3 p.m.
Items to Bring
- Own toiletries (such as soap, shampoo, etc.) Linens and towels provided by hostess.
- Cash--for the balance of the retreat after deposit (can be in $100's), small bills for incidental expenses. In Ecuador, travelers' checks are only accepted in big-city banks, such as Quito or Guayaquil. The U.S. dollar is the currency of Ecuador. Most places do not accept bills larger than $20's. $5's or $10's are better.
- Sturdy walking shoes or comfortable boots.
- Rain jacket or umbrella, warm sweater for evenings and early mornings.
- Insect repellent, sunscreen (at the equator and at 2,830 meters, UV light can be very strong).
- Travelers' insurance strongly advised. This can be purchased through your airline at a reasonable cost.
- Special immunizations not necessary at this altitude.
